editor recipe notes
The “De Danske” Cocktail was one of my really first signature drinks. That I’m really proud of it. The recipe itself is very simple.
However, the combination of Akvavit, Orange, Rooibos, and Vanilla as a Short drink, served in a Coupette, is a real crowd-pleaser. You get even more flavor if you just shake the cut orange peel with it.
And you will really not notice that 50ml of liquor is inside the drink. It’s smooth, and everybody can mix this drink at home.
