Maracujasplit

The Maracujasplit is a wonderful tropical and fruity version. It comes with some milk, not with cream. It's slightly sweet and fruity but well balanced.

mixing tips

General

  • Start with the cheapest ingredients (the syrup) first.

Mise En Place

  • Keep all equipment and ingredients within range. It will be easier and faster to mix the drink.

Ice

  • Try to add the ice cubes into the glass by the end. Do it carefully. Otherwise, you might spill the liquid, or due to the acid of the citrus juice, you will create a lot of foam that spills over.

Glassware

  • A chilled glass keeps your drink longer and more enjoyable. Your used ice will melt slower, and the taste will stay longer.

editor recipe notes

The Maracujasplit just reminds me of the good old days as a child. During summer, there was always a high demand for ice cream. And one of the best combinations was vanilla, passionfruit, and cream.

To make this drink not too heavy, we are using milk. The freshness comes from the passion fruit juice and the awesome texture and aroma from the strawberry puree. Some vanilla and herbal liqueur are the base of this childhood dream.
