editor recipe notes

The secret behind this recipe is the homemade ginger beer.

And, of course, the high-quality vodka, fresh lime wedges, and the extra amount of huge fresh ice cubes.

We have been doing the homemade ginger beer since the restaurant re-opening in 2017 when it was opened as the HYGGE Brasserie & Bar.

From day one, we were juicing the ginger and lemon by ourselves. We made the simple syrup as well and carbonized all ingredients together. What is essential is that you need to wait one day after you carbonize the ginger beer. Then you need to chill it a little bit in the freezer.

Afterward, we fill it into small bottles, seal them tight, and it will last only a week, and we have to make a new one.
