What are the key ingredients, their roles, and possible substitutions?
For the Cosmopolitan, we are using fresh lime juice. We cut the lime in half and squeezed it in a hand press squeezer. To add the extra taste to the drink, we add the juice and the squeezed pericarp. Additionally, once we prepared the garnish, the orange peel, we used the leftover cut fruit and added it also into the drink. Now you got lime and orange oils in your drink. While shaking, you can release more of them. And your drink will be even more delicious after that.
