Rich Demerara Syrup Ration 2:1

This Demerare Syrup is a good flavor enhancers if you like to do Old Fashioned style cocktails. Especially for spirits that are aged, this syrup is a good alternativ instead of using white sugar. You can also use muscovado syrup as well.

steps of production

  1. Pour 280ml (instead of 250ml, because while you heat up, some water is evaporizing)of water into the pot. Add the sugar and heat it up to boiling point and stir consistently.

  2. Once its shortly boiled (10seconds) remove it and place it somewhere save to cool down. Rich syrup is really hot and really be carefull while making it. Let it cool down at least 3 hours. Then you can store it in container and keep it refrigerated.
