2. Principle
This website processes personal data to the technically necessary minimum only. It uses no cookies, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. There is no newsletter, no advertising and no social media plugin. Visitors only read. Members who create an account or write to the guide through the feedback form give the data described in Sections 9 and 10. For usage statistics we operate our own self-hosted, cookieless and IP-anonymized analytics (see Section 5). The site otherwise exists solely for viewing content (recipes).

3. Server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page/file requested, the previously visited page (referrer), and your browser type and operating system. This data is technically required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website). The log files are deleted after a short period.

4. Hosting
This website is hosted by: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The provider processes the data described in Section 3 on our behalf. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

5. Web analytics
This website counts which pages are requested and whether the requester is a person or a known machine, as daily totals for each page. This count stores no IP address, sets no cookie and stores nothing on, and reads nothing from, your device.

If you accept in the consent banner, the website also uses Matomo, an open-source analytics tool that runs on our own server in Germany. Matomo’s script then runs in your browser and reads technical details such as the screen size. Matomo records the pages visited, the time and duration of the visit, the approximate region derived from a shortened IP address, the referring website, the browser and operating system, and the clicks on links. No cookie is set, the IP address is shortened by two bytes before it is stored, single visits are deleted after 180 days, no data is passed to third parties, and a browser that sends Do Not Track is not recorded.

Where a producer or a venue has a paid membership on this website, the views of its page and the clicks on the links of that page, such as the link to its own website or shop, are counted as daily totals for each page and link, so the member can read them. This count stores no IP address, sets no cookie and stores nothing on, and reads nothing from, your device, and it does not count a browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. It does not depend on the consent banner.

The legal bases are Section 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, your consent. Without your consent Matomo is not loaded. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, with effect for the future, with this button: Privacy settings

6. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server (self-hosted). There is no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts), and no data is transmitted to third parties in this respect.

7. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption (recognizable by “https://” in the address bar).

8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and a right to object (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is: The Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.

9. Member accounts
Members have an account with a username, an email address, a password stored in encrypted form, a role and a plan. The entries a member writes, with their pictures, are stored and shown on the guide once they have been reviewed. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, the membership. The data is kept until the account is deleted. Purchases and payment take place on the separate membership site, which has its own privacy policy.

10. Feedback and email
A message sent through the feedback form is stored with its kind, the page it is about if one is given, and the account of the sender, and it is read to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR. A message is deleted once it has been dealt with, or earlier on request, and with the account it belongs to. Emails of the site are sent from noreply@mybeverageguide.com through the server of the host named in Section 4; the log of sent emails, with recipient and subject, is kept for 14 days.
