Windspiel Vodka Barrel Aged Potato

Windspiel makes its Barrel Aged Potato Vodka by hand from carefully chosen potatoes of the variety Pirol, valued for their high starch and fine aroma and grown in the mineral-rich soil of the Vulkaneifel. A specially developed process turns them in five fine distillations into a particularly mild, clear potato vodka that keeps the potato’s natural taste. After distillation the vintage vodka rests several months in ash casks, which gives it fine wood notes, a touch of vanilla and an elegant depth without losing its soft mildness.
