The raspberry Geist is the classic among Geiste: a brandy from raspberries, so low in sugar, would be nearly unaffordable, while as a Geist the wonderful sweetish aroma of the fruit is captured quite fresh. Dirker makes a Geist from fresh garden raspberries and buys fresh wild raspberries from Romania, whose almost intrusive, heavy bouquet streams far over the rim of the digestif glass. Raspberry Geist is also added to sparkling wine or to desserts. 40 % vol, 0.5 l.
