About this bottle

The product

The Royal is the royal entry to Weingut von Winning’s Pinot Noir family. Spontaneous fermentation and 18 months in barriques, one third of them new wood, give it depth, finesse and a fine Burgundian character. On the nose ripe forest berries, dark cherries and dried plums join forest floor, fine roasted notes and a touch of coffee. On the palate juicy and elegant; the fine tannins, precise acidity and discreet spice interlock and lead to a long, balanced finish — a Pinot Noir of character and remarkable elegance. Vintage 2024, VDP.Gutswein, Spätburgunder Qualitätswein from the Pfalz, dry: 13 % vol, 1 g/l residual sugar and 7 g/l acidity. Contains sulphites.
