Rheingau Riesling Sekt Brut

The base wines for the Weil Riesling Sekts come from the estate’s hillside sites, judged by other parameters than the still wines: physiological ripeness at limited sugar levels in healthy grapes, and a confident acidity. After fermentation they go through a strict selection tasting for their final suitability as a Robert Weil Sekt. They are made by classic bottle fermentation, the méthode champenoise, with an extended time on the yeast to mature and build a fine mousse. High substance together with finesse shows the Sekt’s origin in the Weil hillside sites, and a fruity-sweet Weil Riesling Spätlese is used as the dosage for this Brut. Vintage 2022, 11.5 % vol. Contains sulphites.
