Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett

Hardly any other wine stands for the classic Mosel style like the Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett: fine, filigree, dancing and crystal clear. The steep, south-facing slopes of the Sonnenuhr with their deep blue Devonian slate give this Kabinett its unmistakable mix of delicate fruit, intense minerality and vibrant freshness. The nose is precise and cool, with white peach, lemon, pear, green apple and a touch of white blossom. On the palate it feels weightlessly light, carried by a fine, dancing acidity woven together with a discreet sweetness that makes it easy to drink. A partner for Asian food with mild heat, fresh goat’s cheese with honey and salads with citrus vinaigrette, served at 8-10 °C. Vintage 2024, VDP.Grosse Lage, residual-sweet, 8.5 % vol.
