Sour Mix Cocktailmixer

This sour mix is just one of many, many versions. It gives you a high acidity, you can keep it for a long time in a fridge, and in some drinks, it can be used instead of fresh lemon or lime juice.

editor recipe notes

So this mix is a kind of a tricky one. First, I wanted to do a mix like this for many, many years. I was always reading about it and saw some videos. Now, it was time to try it out by myself. The original recipe was with 2ltr instead of 2,2ltr.
The reason I increased the water was due to the acidity and the mistakes you might make if you jigger the sour mix.

So, with 2,2ltr of water, and if you use 30ml in a drink, you have a slightly higher tolerance for mistakes. Otherwise, the cocktail gets too sour if you jigger too much of the mix.

The acid powder, by the way, is almost all vegan. And the cost to produce this mix is up to 5 times cheaper than buying fresh lime or lemon juice. But of course, you need to prepare everything by yourself, and the flavor profile is different and not so versatile for every drink, like organic juice.
